Los Alamos Sportsmen's Club Calendar

I will be holding a series of Intermediate Pistol Skills Development classes at LASC on occasional Saturdays.

Show-up time is 9am at the LASC indoor range.

The classes will be 4 hours in duration. The classes are limited to 4 shooters to ensure proper individual attention can be given to each shooter.

The fee is $50 per shooter.

There will be no classroom time associated with the session, so we'll be doing a LOT of shooting. It will be an intensive session concentrating on going beyond the basics.

Topics covered will include:

• Shooting on the move
• Shooting from turns (left, right, and rear)
• Shooting fast with concentration on using the trigger reset for semi-autos
• Reaction to a threat from a sitting position (e.g., restaurant situation)
• Reloading techniques to get you back into the fight in the shortest time possible
• Standard Defensive Response drills that will improve your hit rate out to 7 yards
